About Us
Philomera Hope Center Foundation Uganda is a youth-serving Not -for- profit organization started in December 2013.
We work in six thematic areas of: Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Disability inclusion , Water & Sanitation, Education/Literacy, Leadership & Mentorship, Livelihood support
We do this with an aim of creating a platform for young people to amplify their voices, innovate for change and contribute to achieving sustainable development in Uganda. The establishment of PHF was inspired with the realization that young people face heightened marginalization on account of sex, gender and socio-cultural norms. They are among the poorest in their communities and efforts to address their plight are hindered by lack of coordination and sufficient information. This necessitated the birth of PHF to design self help community-based development programs for young people in Uganda
Our Vision
PHF’s mission is to empower young people , and other vulnerabilities to maximize their potential and improve their standard of living. PHF visualizes an inclusive society in which human rights, citizenship and potential of young people is respected. The overall goal of PHF is to improve the quality of life of vulnerable groups in Uganda.
